Fresno City College: Competed in throws for two years with Fresno City College... earned All-American honors in the hammer throw in 2007... put up best marks of 166-2 in the hammer and 52-11 in the weight throw... competed on the same team as current Bulldog Sharon Ayala.
Reedley HS: Earned four varsity letters as a thrower on the track & field team... also lettered three years on the basketball team.
Personal: Born March 26, 1987 in Mexico... mother is Virginia... has two brothers, Edgar and Joe, and has one sister, Cendy ... hobby includes drawing ... person she most admires is her mom for raising four kids on her own.
