She has one younger brother, Carson She volunteers with Boy Scouts of America and enjoys backpacking, photography, writing, playing piano, and yodeling. Her accomplishments on the Fresno State Equestrian team include: (2003) Fresno State Scholar-Athlete and Dean's List honoree. (2004) IHSA National Champion of Beginning Western Horsemanship. She recieved Third in Walk-Jog at the Fresno State home show. She was one of the premier scholar-athletes on the Fresno State campus. (2005) Earned a 4.0 grade point average, she recieved the Kiwanis Torch of Excellence Awards, she recieved the Harold Haak Scholarship, and she got second place at the Zone championship.
